Love is all you need. Just like in the refrain of the song All you need is love. I love this song from the Beatles. Being an heartist, I would just say instead: Heart is all you need. Sounds good too, what do you think? Note that the photograph here below was taken at the end of the day with no filter. Day light can be magic,
Geometric abstraction composed of 3 modular hearts. The hearts are somehow hidden in the composition but I can see 2 legs, it's obvious. The 2 arms on top emphasize this. And with the head at the very top, it concludes the demonstration, this abstraction stands on legs. Let's think about it for 2 seconds. Is this sculpture still a true abstraction or is it instead a stylized figure? What do you think?
This morning, I was thinking of a new sculpture. So I started creating it by putting my idea on paper. You can see here below how the sketch turned into the sculpture. It took me a few steps to get there.
Abstract art by definition doesn't aim to represent anything real. But when you start observing it, you may discover some kind of resemblance with reality. I created this sculpture to realize afterwards what it may potentially represent. It took me some time to discover it. After careful observation, it became obvious. Can you guess what I saw? I put three possible responses at the end of this post. But please don't read them right away and tell me first what you see. I'll be interested to know.
Answer A: Dancer - Answer B: Judoka - Answer C: Other Different views of the same sculpture... The joy of balance. The photographs here below are of the same two sculptures but placed in different positions. It's wonderful to see what a couple can do.
